So often as Mothers we can feel isolated and alone. In
today's world and social climate, we find mothers are missing
out on the necessary networks and communities to sustain
and empower us. We are separated from our families by distance,
we are encouraged to be superwomen, we have careers, we
can feel very alone, inadequate, isolated and worst of
all, guilty. We are being valued much less and medicated
much more…BUT...we continue to get some immense satisfaction
from the job we are doing and love our babies and children
in ways that we are sometimes unable to express in words!!!
Mothers online is about building the environment where
mothers can support mothers without judging, criticising
or even seeing! We will create the community we need to
assist us in the toughest job we will ever encounter. We
will be available to each other without even having to
know one another but having some idea of what we each experience.
We will show each other that we are normal...if there is
such a thing...and we will laugh along the way. Join us
